The Research and Data Analytics commission will be a new commission added to the Office of the President. In my experience serving as the ASUCI International Student Advocacy Officer as well as an ASUCI Senator, I’ve come to realize that the most effective way for us to lobby and advocate for student needs to higher UCI administration is through data and statistics.

I envision this commission as being led by a student who’s experienced in the field of data analyst, whether through their education background or work experience. This commissioner will work collaboratively and behind the scenes with the other advocacy related commissions in the Office of the President in order to 1) Create surveys to relevant topics, 2) Gather advocacy related data), 3) Analyze and present the data to the President and OP Core team so that we can provide UCI administration with information about
