The Student Health and Wellness Commision used to be part of the Office of the President, but in recent years it’s been moved to ASUCI’s Internal Vice President Branch. So, as of today the student health and wellness commission and mental health commission are separated, which have negatively impacted efforts for the two commissions to coordinate. If elected President I plan on working with the next Internal Vice President to bring this coalition back to OP so that we can streamline health related collaborative efforts. Below are my plans for the Mental Health commision, as well as a new Physical and Spiritual Health Commission.
