Overview & Reorganization

From my experience working with the different branches of the Office of the President, I’ve come to realize that the office’s uniqueness lies in its ability to improvise and adapt to different issues that arise on a year-to-year basis. As ASUCI President, I plan on addressing issues like racial, cultural, and income inequality as well as advocate for prevalent issues regarding student health and wellness. Below is how I plan to reorganize and improve the Office of the President to better reflect those goals.

Reorganizing OP Core Team leadership

The first Chief of Staff will specialize in efforts regarding student advocacy. Preferably this person would have experience in not only advocacy to the local, state, and federal government, but also experience with the multitude of student welfare issues that are dealt with by OP. The second Chief of Staff will specialize in operations and logistics of the Office. Preferably this person would have experience in dealing with the ASUCI bureaucracy and will aid the office’s transition and internal operations throughout the year.
